Start with two 4 x 8-ft pieces of plywood. Download free plans and get a supplies list by clicking the button below. Cut stems and leaves from the scrap wood pieces.

Once the shapes are cut, paint the wood with a primer before applying two coats of outdoor paint. Add a contrasting paint color (like yellow) for extra details.

Attach stems and leaves with screws. Then attach pipe brackets or a metal H frame to the back of the pumpkins for display purposes.

Add an outdoor sealer if desired, and store the wooden pumpkins in a dry location when not in use. They should last many years!
