Tuesday Turn About #10: DIY Summer Home Decor
It’s time for Tuesday Turn About #10! Everyone seems to be inching toward fall decor, but we are still celebrating the dog days of summer with this DIY summer home decor. Read on for details!
We’re past the midpoint of the year, so it’s time to assess our progress on #goals! My big 2019 goal was launching a YouTube channel. I now have much respect for those influencers with tens of thousands of subscribers!
What goals do you hope to accomplish in the last half of the year? Do tell!

This Week’s Link Party Features: DIY Summer Decor
As a reminder, we choose three unique features on each of our blogs! Be sure to check out all three blogs to see our nine weekly features! We always appreciate your comments and love knowing what’s going on in your lives.
Also, we have a Tuesday Turn About Pinterest board that includes all of our weekly features, if you’d like to follow along.
Now let’s move on to our features of the week…
Carol from Bluesky at Home staged a gorgeous simple sea glass summer mantel with elements of DIY decor you should check out! I’m in love with the color scheme and pops of yellow she incorporated. It really is a feast for the eyes!
Lauren from Mom Home Guide shared her DIY Bathroom Mirror Frame tutorial. It’s amazing what some decorative molding and acrylic paint can do to transform a bathroom vanity! Her painting technique really adds such character to the molding. Go see!
If you’re looking for a creative way to display a temporary note or sign, you must check out this DIY kraft paper message board from Unique Creations by Anita. My boys would have so much fun writing on this craft paper, but I’d use it for daily quotes or Bible verses.
I hope you’ve been inspired by these DIY summer home decor projects! Don’t forget to stop by My Wee Abode and Thistle Key Lane to see our other weekly features!
Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Party Guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc). Feel free to link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- We ask that you please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE. (It just won’t work right on Pinterest.) However, you are encouraged to visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and on social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
