It’s hard to believe it’s already Tuesday Turn About #9! This week, I found several summertime kid-friendly ideas to share with you. Hold onto your popsicles!

I just returned from my second Haven Conference for bloggers and influencers. It was a whirlwind, to say the least! I always feel like it takes a couple of weeks for all of the great info to marinate in my brain.

The best part of the conference was reuniting with some of my blogging besties, including our very own Julie Briones! If you’ve debated whether or not you should attend, you’ll want to check out my Haven Conference recap.

Meet Your Link Party Hostesses

Each week, I co-host this party with two of my favorite bloggers, Julie from My Wee Abode and Michelle from Thistle Key Lane. Be sure to visit each of their blogs and check out the different posts they selected as well.

Also, I encourage you to follow us on social media to stay in the know!

This Week’s Link Party Features: Kid-Friendly Ideas

As a reminder, we choose three unique features on each of our blogs! Be sure to check out all three blogs to see our nine weekly features! We always appreciate your comments and love knowing what’s going on in your lives.

Also, we have a Tuesday Turn About Pinterest board that includes all of our weekly features, if you’d like to follow along.

Now let’s move on to our features of the week…

Summer ain’t over, and there’s still plenty of time to create your own outdoor entertainment for the kids. This DIY one-rope tree swing from Tiffany at Tee Diddly Dee will get you started. As Tiffany demonstrates, it even works for grown ups! Ha!

Have you tried making your own soap yet? There are so many great ideas out there! Kelli from 3 Boys and a Dog raised the bar with her rainbow layered soap recipe. I love the glitter and shine! Wouldn’t these be fun to make with the kiddos?

And who doesn’t love a good unicorn craft? Jennifer from Busy Being Jennifer shows you how to make this sweet unicorn cactus gift idea. I love how she customizes these pots with flowers, tulle and other accents. So fun!

Go out and enjoy the rest of your summer with these kid-friendly ideas. Don’t forget to stop by My Wee Abode and Thistle Key Lane to see our other weekly features!

Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!

Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Party Guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc). Feel free to link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • We ask that you please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE. (It just won’t work right on Pinterest.) However, you are encouraged to visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and in social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

  1. It was such a pleasure to meet you at Haven Crissy! I really enjoyed the night when we all went out for dinner. Your Haven recap is spot on! Now it’s time to put everything we learned into place! Hugs! Rebecca 🙂

    1. Rebecca, I loved getting to spend time with you! I’ve been checking out your Facebook page and left a review, too. You’ve inspired me with your great Facebook Live tutorials. Thanks for checking out my Haven post! Let’s keep each other going on the post-Haven follow through! 🙂 Hugs to you, too!

  2. Thank you so much, Crissy, for hosting this week and a huge thanks for featuring my DIY One Rope Swing! I really do appreciate it! I loved reading about Haven and wished I could have gone, but our funds were really tight this year. I’ll be pinching my pennies and, hopefully, next year will be able to attend. It sounds like you had a good time, but also learned so many things about how to improve your blog, which I really need! Thanks again for everything and I hope you have a wonderful week! 🙂

    Many hugs,

    Tee @ Teediddlydee

    1. Hi Tee! It was my pleasure! I love the fact that your project gets the kids outside, and I know when they are older, they will always remember the projects that Mom/Dad made. What a special gift! I’m so glad you enjoyed the Haven post. It really is worth attending for the blogging relationships alone. If I’m able to attend next year, I hope to meet you there! Have a beautiful week! Hugs!
