Tuesday Turn About #11: Home Decor Sequels

Please support this site by sharing!

Welcome to Tuesday Turn About #11! We loved seeing the mix of end-of-summer and back-to-school inspiration you shared with us this past week. Among the many great posts, there were a few home decor sequels that caught my attention. You’ll see what I mean below…

What areas of your blog will you work on this week? A few friends have shared posts about tips they learned at the recent Haven Conference or from courses they have taken.

As we gear up for fall, it’s a good time to refresh old posts. This month, I’m focused on creating new pins for Pinterest, re-editing old photos (or taking new photos for old posts) and making sure I’m linking to other relevant content within my site. How about you?

Meet Your Link Party Hostesses

Each week, I co-host this party with two of my favorite bloggers, Julie from My Wee Abode and Michelle from Thistle Key Lane. Be sure to visit each of their blogs and check out the different posts they selected as well.

Also, I encourage you to follow us on social media to stay in the know!

This Week’s Link Party Features: Home Decor Sequels

As a reminder, we choose three unique features on each of our blogs! Be sure to check out all three blogs to see our nine weekly features! We always appreciate your comments and love knowing what’s going on in your lives.

Also, we have a Tuesday Turn About Pinterest board that includes all of our weekly features, if you’d like to follow along.

As I mentioned, the features this week could be considered “sequels.” There’s a mix of upcycled and revitalized decor as well as the return of a former blogger sharing her lovely home as a guest host. Take a look!

Karin from Karin’s Kottage gave her dining table a new life by creating a DIY planked tabletop. It was perfect for accommodating extra family members for Sunday dinners. With Thanksgiving coming in a few months, you could do the same!

Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home invited Stacey of Poofing the Pillows to share a stunning summer home tour with us. Stacey recently took a break from blogging, but you can follow her on Instagram at stacey_poofing_the_pillows. Don’t miss out on seeing her home…it’s so cohesive and tasteful, with a gorgeous color scheme.

If you have a framed piece of art that you want to upgrade, you must visit this DIY frosted mirror tutorial from Rebecca at Zucchini Sisters. She tells you exactly how you can give an old piece of art a new lease on life. I love this technique! Also, Rebecca hosts a Facebook live session each week on her page, which I find so inspiring!

I hope you’ve been inspired by these DIY summer home decor projects! Don’t forget to stop by My Wee Abode and Thistle Key Lane to see our other weekly features!

Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!

Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Party Guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc). Feel free to link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • We ask that you please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE. (It just won’t work right on Pinterest.) However, you are encouraged to visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and on social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
