Tuesday Turn About #14: Fall Beginnings and DIY Art
Welcome to Tuesday Turn About #14! Are you starting to decorate for fall already? The air here is NOT getting crisper, but I’m still getting in the mood for some autumn crafts and decor…
Whew! Something big happened this week! My baby boys started Kindergarten! I’m fairly certain this momma was more nervous than the kids were on the first day of school.
I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine and bringing more regular content to the blog. Follow along on Instagram for some fun fall projects on the horizon!

Each week, I co-host this party with Julie from My Wee Abode and Michelle from Thistle Key Lane. Be sure to visit each of their blogs and check out the different posts they selected as well.

This Week’s Link Party Features: Early Fall Decor and a DIY Art Project
As a reminder, we choose three unique features on each of our blogs! Be sure to check out all three blogs to see our nine weekly features! Also, we have a Tuesday Turn About Pinterest board that includes all of our weekly features, if you’d like to follow along.
This week, we had some really wonderful early fall posts, including tips on gearing up for the season and ways to decorate the kitchen with autumn feels. There’s also a good dose of DIY decor to add to your fall project list!
Check out these featured posts for more details!
CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared 17 ways to ease into fall. You’ll love the way she decorates all parts of the home with farmhouse style fall decor. This post is chock-full of beautiful autumn vignettes. Bust out the pumpkin spice!
Jenn from Clean & Scentsible has a gorgeous tour of her fall kitchen decor. There are so many little touches you can start to incorporate in your own kitchen. Aren’t the vintage accents in the photo below so charming?
If you’re looking for some DIY inspiration, Stephanie from Abbotts at Home gave a tutorial for an incredible paint pouring wall art project. No one would ever know you didn’t buy these pieces in an art gallery. I mean, WOW!
Don’t forget to stop by My Wee Abode and Thistle Key Lane to see our other weekly features!
Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Party Guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc). Feel free to link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- We ask that you please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE. (It just won’t work right on Pinterest.) However, you are encouraged to visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and on social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you so much the sweet feature, Crissy! I apologize for the late response. It’s taken us most of the week to prepare for Hurricane Dorian. This feature has been the bright spot from a week filled with lots of ups and downs and I really appreciate it. Hugs and thank yous, CoCo
Oh, no! I had no idea you were in the path of the storm. We went through Harvey, so I know it completely disrupts everything in your life, before, during and after. I really hope you stay safe and don’t face any damage. Prayers to you and your family! -Crissy
Thanks for hosting the party!
Thank YOU for joining us, Sandra. It’s good to see you here again. Have a great week!
What a fun day with the Pinterest challenge and now this great party! Thanks for hosting!
Yes, such a busy day! I’m still trying to catch up on everything. Thanks so much for joining the party, Amber. Now that the boys are in school, I hope to get back into a good routine with the blog.
