Welcome to the Bloggers Best Spring Home Tour

Decorating is always more fun with friends, right? I’m teaming up with 29 other bloggers this week for a home tour extravaganza hosted by Kelly at The Tattered Pew and Mansa from This is Simplicite. If you’re hungry for spring home decor inspiration, look no further.

You might have clicked over from my friend Ann at Dabbling and Decorating. I fell in love with Ann’s style and photography the moment I saw her blog. You should pay her a visit if you haven’t already.

You’ll find all of my friends’ tours linked at the end. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Spring Home Decor in the Dining Room

The first room you see as you enter my home is the dining room. I happen to work in my office across from it, so I like to set a pretty table that I can enjoy all season.

I’m not sure if your office looks like mine, but let’s just say that the soothing color scheme on this table helps to balance out the chaos.

For this tour, you’ll notice a theme of “blooms and birds.” I recently crafted the birdhouse you see on the table. Naturally, I thought I’d use it as a spring decor accent before letting the birds move in!

You can find more details about the table decorations in my post on affordable spring table decor.

On the sideboard in the dining room, I also added a few spring accents.

I had a lot of fun decorating this 3-tiered stand with bits and bobs found at Home Goods, Target, JOANN, and Hobby Lobby. Luckily, I also had a decoupage plate with a bird’s nest theme from my spring YouTube video last year.

I’ll admit, I have a thing for bunnies. A few years ago, I fell in love with the bunny figurine you see with the flower satchel. This time I added some glass apothecary jars to keep him company.

You can see last year’s spring table decorations and my Easter table decor to see my affection for bunnies play out.

Spring Living Room Decor

I’m in the process of changing up the color scheme in our living room. Maybe the extra time spent at home has me craving change? You too?

Spring coffee table accents in living room with throw pillows on sofas in background.

For several years now, we’ve had throw pillows in deep earth tones, like burgundy, aqua and mustard yellow. This spring has me loving all things blue and pink, I’m realizing!

I found throw pillows that added a lively touch to our spring living room decor. Have you checked out the Studio McGee line at Target yet? Home Goods is another hot spot for budget-friendly pillows.

Though I used faux flowers in my dining room table centerpiece, I decided to treat myself to the real deal for the coffee table.

If I could have hydrangeas in a vase on a weekly basis, I’d be a happy girl.

More Spring Birds and Blooms Accents

For added spring touches, I also like to add a few seasonal vignettes in our breakfast room.

Four-wheeled decorative cart filled with tulips and lillies.

Okay, I splurged on real spring bulbs too! I felt like they were just destined to complete my flower cart look in the corner of my breakfast room. They should return each year if I treat them right.

In the “faux” category, I recently purchased the pot of waxed tulips you see below. I am in LOVE! Not only does it have charm, but it also smells amazing!

All of these flowers (real or fake) remind me that everything will soon be in bloom. After the crazy year we’ve had and the record-breaking freeze that hit last month, I’m ready to see new growth!

I hope you’ll come away from these home tours excited to decorate for spring. Your next stop is Leen from Sand Dollar Lane. She’s sharing wonderful ideas for entry table spring decor. You’ll find the other tour participants below as well.

    1. Hi Laura! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. I hope you’re having a nice start to spring in Colorado!

  1. Omgodness Crissy, your home is so lovely!! I am loving all of the soft tones. That cart with fresh flowers stole my vintage-style lovin’ heart!! Pinning and enjoying over here in Delaware!

    1. Thanks so much, Cindy! I wish we had the cool vintage furniture you have (and refurbish) in your neck of the woods, but we make do. Thanks for stopping by and pinning too!

  2. What a huge difference pillows make! And I want the one with the stripes on one-third and the floral print on the other two-thirds! Everything looks so bright, happy and perfectly spring. Of course you can never go wrong with pink so… Thanks for the different view. I loved it all!

    1. Thanks bunches, Cindy! Yes, I’m embracing the pink this year. Not sure how hubby feels about that one, but so far he hasn’t said anything. No news is good news, if you ask me! I got that pillow at Target. They had some really cute options this year! Happy Easter, my friend!

  3. I just LOVE your birds and blooms Crissy! Especially the blooms! I’ve pinned all kinds of pics here. I loved that you got those Target pillows. I have had my eye on them for so long. I love all the inspiration, every detail is perfectly spring and so pretty.

    1. Ha ha! I don’t think I even mentioned where those pillows were from. You have a good eye, Kim! I fell in love with the Studio McGee line they have now. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Easter!

  4. Just love the themed tablescape! Also, the flowers throughout your home add so much excitement to the new spring season.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

  5. Crissy your home is so pretty! I love how your dining room looks too! It’s so beautiful with all the flowers. Have the best weekend! xo

  6. How fun that you can look across at a pretty table all set in the dining room while you’re working! Your home is beautiful and I loved seeing it all Spring-ed up. Give me all the flowers, I like to say…real and faux! Love the little flower cart; adorable! Happy Spring and Happy Easter!

    1. Thank you, Lora! I can’t get enough flowers either. Sadly, mine didn’t last as long as I’d like, so I need to start growing a steady supply. Thanks for the kind words and for stopping by! Happy Easter!

  7. Crissy, your home is gorgeous and so beautifully decorated! I enjoyed all your bunnies and blooms sprinkled throughout! My favorite is your dining room. Amazing! That chandelier is gorgeous too! My office is a disaster so I have to hide it away behind a door 😉

    1. Thanks so much, Cindy! Yes, I think the dining room is my favorite too. Sadly, it didn’t get used much this past year. Hoping to change that in the near future! Yes, my office needs a major overhaul! It will not be on tours any time soon. Ha!

  8. Crissy I love all of your birds, bunnies and blooms!!! Such a pretty combo and I love the birdhouse you made. Spring perfection! Thanks for joining us this week. Pinned

    1. Thanks, Kelly! I know it’s a lot of work to put this hop together. Thanks for doing that and for inspiring us with your own beautiful decor! Hugs, Crissy

  9. Hi Crissy, Fantastic job! I love all the florals in your house for Spring! I’m a sucker for hydrangeas! Plus, that ceramic bunny is super cute! I especially love your pink napkins! Very cute!

    1. Thanks, Kori! I can’t resist hydrangeas either! They always seem like a good idea. Loved seeing your boho farmhouse decor as well! You have such a beautiful home!

  10. Your spring home is perfect, Crissy! Love the pinks and blues, and that wagon with the bulbs… I kept going back to look at it. How does the wax tulip pot smell good (meaning, why?)? All of your bunnies are placed perfectly, too… not cutsie, but spring-y. Pinned and sharing!

    1. Thanks, Julie! My mom gave me that wagon, and I’ve used it for so many different things over the years. It’s a fun accessory. As for the wax tulips, I’m not sure if I explained it well. Somehow, the tulips are actually made from wax, and this company has made the wax scented. It’s like having a candle without having to light it. I love the smell, though I’m not sure what scent it is! Thanks for sharing/pinning!

  11. What a beautiful spring home! I love all the flowers you’ve used throughout your spaces. The pale pink is perfect in your pretty home. So fun touring with you this week.

    1. Hi AnnMarie! Thanks so much. I’m really enjoying all of the tours. I always come away with so many great ideas! Fun touring with you ladies as well!

  14. So happy to be hopping with you Crissy. You have such a beautiful home and it’s decorated so beautifully for spring. Pinned👌🏻

    1. Thanks, Ann! I so enjoyed touring your Maine bedroom. I’ve visited various parts of Maine a handful of times, and I love seeing your New England decor style.

  15. Your home looks beautiful all decked out for spring. I’ve never thought about setting a table to enjoy all season. That’s a great idea and I can imagine you working away in your office and glancing up to admire your beautiful tablescape. All of the vignettes that you created are so pretty and it is wonderful that you treated yourself to some fresh flowers to enjoy. It was fun to get a glimpse of your breakfast room. I think today is the first time that I’ve seen it.

    1. Thank you, Paula. Yes, I’m making all my boys enjoy my pink and blue table for as long as I can! You know, I rarely buy flowers for myself, but I’m enjoying them so much that I think I’ll do it more often. I don’t share my breakfast room too much because it’s not my favorite. One of these days I’m going to fix it up!

  16. Crissy!! I was so excited for your Spring Home Tour!! All week I couldn’t wait for Thursday to arrive!! I absolutely love your birds and blooms. I’ve had a thing for birds for a LONG time. I used to try to stuff it away, like having birds in my house was childish or something, but now I’M ALL ABOUT IT!! It’s a running joke between my husband and me now hahaha Also great minds think alike, pink and blue!!! Girl!! Your home looks gorgeous!!!

    1. Thanks, Aliya! Yes, I feel like my whole week was focused on getting my spring decorating on. A girl can never have too many birds in the house, can she? They’re multiplying here like…bunnies! Thanks so much for the sweet compliments. I’m heading over to visit your home now, too!

    1. Aw, thanks, Leen! Yes, you definitely need a cart for your upcoming cut flower garden. We need to discuss planting strategies! I’m determined to have dahlias this year!
