Free Printable Christmas Gift Tags

Okay, a moment of truth. Do you reuse old gift tags each year?

It’s always the last thing on your mind, right? I mean, you have to buy all these presents and now you have to make them look pretty too?!

To help relieve your holiday stress, I’ve designed these free printable gift tags.

Free printable Christmas gift tags available for download exclusively at First Day of Home blog.

They feature sweet farmhouse watercolor art and some of my latest and greatest free Christmas fonts. (I’m loving all these new fonts, by the way!)

You can also pair these free gift tags with salt dough ornaments to wrap your gifts this year.

How to Print Your Free Holiday Gift Tags

You can print these gift tags using your home computer and then cut them out to attach to your gifts. I like to use thick cardstock paper for all of my free printables.

This printable gift tag template includes a circle marking exactly where to punch a hole to add your string or ribbon. I like to use twine or farmhouse patterned ribbon (think buffalo check) to coordinate with the images.

As I shared in my recent YouTube Christmas crafts video, adding a personalized gift tag along with some pretty Christmas ribbon can transform a plain vanilla gift into something special.

Tip: Remember to select 1-sided printing for these gift tags, and for best results, choose the highest quality print setting.

New Rustic Christmas Gift Tags Printable

I also just released a new rustic Christmas gift tag printable that you can combine with patterned scrapbook paper for a layered look. So stop by that post when you’re done here!

  1. Hello, I am looking for Christmas gift tags and came across your design. I really like how they look, but once downloaded am I able to type on the tags instead of writing them out by hand? thank you

    1. Hi Terry. Since the tags are in a PDF format, you won’t be able to write on them unless you have an Adobe Acrobat program with editing capabilities. With Adobe Acrobat Reader (free version), you’ll only be able to view and print the files. I hope this helps. Happy Holidays!

    1. Hi Heather! You should see a box to enter your email and contact info in order to receive the gift tags. The tags are a freebie for newsletter subscribers, and you’ll get access to other exclusive content as well when you subscribe. I hope this helps! Thanks, Crissy

  2. I can’t download any of the printable. What am I doing wrong? I know it’s a little early for Christmas but I always like to plan early. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.
