Tuesday Turn About #7: Home Decor Tips and Furniture Makeovers
Welcome to Tuesday Turn About #7! This week, we had so many home decor tips and furniture makeovers, I’ve decided to highlight a few of my favorites.
Here in the U.S., we celebrated Independence Day last week! The day was filled with lots of swim time, sparklers and plenty of good ol’ American snacks. We even had a blindfolded taste test with seven different flavors of Oreos! Who knew there were so many?! The winning flavor: Birthday Cake.
How did you spend your past week?
MEET YOUR LINK PARTY HOSTESSES

THIS WEEK’S LINK PARTY FEATURES
As a reminder, we choose three unique features on each of our blogs! Be sure to check out all three blogs to see our nine weekly features! We love getting comments from you and hearing how your weeks are going.
Also, we have a Tuesday Turn About Pinterest board that includes all of our weekly features, if you’d like to follow along.
Now let’s move on to our features of the week…
Maria from Simple Nature Decor walks through a tutorial on How to Change the Color of Your Bedroom Dresser. If you own a dark colored piece of furniture and have thought about replacing it, read this first! You won’t believe the transformation you’ll get with a paint job and new knobs.
Along similar lines, Ahna from Hammers N Hugs shared a detailed tutorial on How to Refinish Furniture that has a polyurethane finish. She turned an old pedestal table into a shabby chic style piece with beautiful results! Go check it out!
Janet from JRL Interiors provides some very helpful Do’s and Don’ts for Hanging Artwork. Haven’t we all struggled with figuring out how to stage artwork in our homes? Janet’s home decor tips take the guesswork out of your gallery wall arrangements.
Now you can go tackle those decorating projects with these useful home decor tips and furniture makeovers!
Don’t forget to stop by My Wee Abode and Thistle Key Lane to see our other weekly features!
Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Party Guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc). Feel free to link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- We ask that you please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE. (It just won’t work right on Pinterest.) However, you are encouraged to visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and in social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Thanks for stopping by!
