Black Friday Deals – Craft Edition
Weeding through the flood of Black Friday and Cyber Monday emails is overwhelming! It’s hard to know what’s a “good” deal and what’s not. That’s why I’ve picked my top 10 bargains to share with the crafters and DIY-ers out there. These are things I’ve tried and would buy at these sale prices.
This post contains affiliate links, and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. For more information, please see my disclosures.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals
The deals below represent the best prices of the year (outside of Amazon Prime Day). All of these products will truly enhance your crafting game if you don’t already own them.
Just remember, you don’t need any fancy machines to be a great crafter or make beautiful things. I’m only sharing these products because they have brought me joy and might even help you kick-start a small business idea.
If you’re an Amazon Prime shopper, you can check all of the latest deals on the Black Friday homepage. I’ll keep this article updated as the sales continue, so bookmark it for later!
Cricut Deals and Laser Cutting Machines
I love starting with Cricut deals because I use my Cricut Maker 3 weekly if not more. It’s the one tool that has completely changed the way I approach crafting.
1. Cricut Maker 3
With the Cricut Maker 3, you can not only design custom t-shirts, decals, and labels, but you can also deboss or engrave materials. The Maker 3 is compatible with over 300 materials, so you’ll never run out of project ideas.
If you’re willing to make a small sacrifice in functionality for a lower price, the Cricut Explore 3 is also part of the Black Friday sale and costs $100 less than the Maker 3.
The Cricut Maker 3 is a versatile craft machine that can cut, score, deboss, engrave, or write on over 300 materials, including vinyl, leather, cardstock, and thin pieces of wood.
2. Cricut Joy
The Cricut Joy is at the other end of the spectrum in terms of size. If you’re space-constrained but want the ability to make small projects like cards, labels, and vinyl decals (up to 4.5 inches wide), the Cricut Joy might be the answer.
Cricut also recently released the Cricut Joy xTra which cuts wider materials (up to 8.5 inches wide). However, I haven’t seen deep discounts for this machine because it’s fairly new.
The Cricut Joy brings portability to your crafting experience. This compact cutting machine is perfect for making a quick greeting card or vinyl decal on the go.
3. Cricut EasyPress 3
I love my EasyPress 3 because I do a lot of heat-transfer vinyl (iron-on) projects. I’ve made t-shirts, infusible ink coasters, and teacher gift bags with my heat press. The uniform heat distribution and Bluetooth connectivity are game changers. (You can read my EasyPress 3 review for more details.)
This is the lowest price of the year, down from a high of $199 and an annual average price of $168.
The EasyPress 3 is a must-have for Cricut iron-on and infusible ink projects. It comes with a Bluetooth-connected app that automatically sends heat instructions to your machine, taking the guesswork out of iron-on projects.
4. Cricut Mug Press
If you love making personalized gifts for friends and family or want to start a small business making professional-looking mugs, let me suggest the Cricut mug press.
I’ll soon publish a tutorial showing the steps to make these infusible ink mugs. It’s as simple as any other iron-on project and doesn’t require any fancy skills.
This is the lowest price of the year, with a 1-year high of $199 and an average price of $172.
The Cricut Mug Press achieves professional-looking results through a process of sublimation using infusible ink transfer sheets, pens, or markers. The finished mugs are peel-proof and dishwasher safe.
5. xTool Laser Cutting Machines
xTool is offering a range of Black Friday discounts of up to 60% off, which is an incredible steal.
I’ve used my xTool M1 diode laser machine for a few months now. It has allowed me to take personalization to the next level making engraved tags, etched glass tumblers, and wooden earrings, among other gifts. (Check out my engraved cutting board to see an example.)
You can snag the xTool M1 for $500 off PLUS an additional $80 off with the coupon code XTCUT80. This Black Friday promotion ends on November 30.
xTool also has a “buy more save more” promo with steeper discounts now through November 24th. You may want to explore the enclosed S1 diode laser that offers more safety features or the top-of-the-line P2 CO2 laser machine for small businesses.
You can read more about these machines in my xTool M1 review.
Design Assets and Skill-building
Not all of the best Black Friday deals are products. These digital deals are an important part of my craft journey that I think you’ll enjoy too.
6. Creative Fabrica
If you’re already a Cricut crafter or laser machine enthusiast, you may enjoy having access to boatloads of SVG files, fonts, and classes with Creative Fabrica.
Pay just $47 for the annual All-Access Pass (normally $348/year). This is the lowest price that has ever been offered.
- Get unlimited access to over 14 million fonts and designs, including SVG files, clipart, sublimation designs, and craft classes.
- A commercial license comes included.
- The sale runs from November 23rd through December 3rd.
I’ve taught three Cricut classes on Creative Fabrica, so feel free to join me for my tutorials there!
7. Craftsy
I’m also a big fan of continued learning. Craftsy is my go-to place to try a new craft or enhance my current skills with online classes.
Right now, Craftsy is offering 75% off all classes with the code BLACKFRIDAY.
You can also get a 1-Year Premium Membership for only $2.49 with unlimited access to over 1,500 instructional video classes. That’s not a typo!
Craft Supplies
I asked myself which supplies I truly enjoyed adding to my stash within the last couple of years. Here are a few deals that I think are worthwhile to help you tackle some of the projects I’ve covered on the blog.
8. Clay Sculpting Tools
I use this sculpting tool set for my air-dry clay projects. Check out my popular clay gnomes to see an example of what you can make.
These clay sculpting tools are great for beginners interested in air dry clay or polymer clay crafts.
9. Extra-fine paint pens
For finer details when painting, try using these paint pens. They have a great flow and make paint projects easier, especially if you’re getting the kids involved. Note: The Black Friday sale price may only be visible after clicking “Shop Now” below.
10. Rolling craft cart
To store all of your wonderful craft supplies like paints, glues, and brushes, this craft cart is a lifesaver. I use mine daily.
This tiered rolling cart helps to keep your paints and craft supplies handy. It comes with hanging cups and hooks for extra storage too.
Be sure to check back over the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend as I’ll be updating this information whenever possible.
